Brewix Desk vs Jira Service Management

Jira Service Management is Atlassian’s service desk, free for up to three agents and deeply configurable. It’s a strong choice for teams that already live in Jira. Here’s what it takes to set it up for Microsoft 365 the way Brewix Desk works, and what that costs.

Facts about Jira Service Management checked on October 20, 2026, from the sources listed at the end. Brewix Desk is in private development, so its column describes the prototype as built today, before it connects to real Microsoft 365 tenants.

Choose Jira Service Management if…

  • The free plan for three agents covers what you need.
  • Your company already runs on Jira and Confluence.
  • You want a full CMDB, or your data pinned to a specific country.

Choose Brewix Desk if…

  • You want to be set up in one sitting, without designing workflows and asset schemas.
  • You want Intune devices on tickets without Assets, Data Manager or a Marketplace app.
  • You want Entra sign-in included, without adding Atlassian Guard.

What It Costs

For a team of one, three or five.

Jira Service Management is free for up to three agents. Past three, every agent is on a paid plan: Standard is $21.50 per agent a month at list price with monthly billing, and Assets, which Intune data needs, starts on Standard. Single sign-on needs Atlassian Guard on top.

Moving from Jira Service Management

Brewix Desk has an importer for Jira Service Management, built in the prototype and to be tested on real exports during the beta. Tickets, requesters and articles come across. Devices don’t need moving: Brewix reads them from Intune when you connect Microsoft 365.
